linoleum flooring installed in working studio

Midnight Falcon Studio Build: The Floor Goes In

After paint and trim, the floor went in.

I went with linoleum. Simple, durable, and easy to work on. This isn’t meant to be permanent—it’s meant to take abuse. Paint, glue, dust, whatever comes with the work.

I’ve learned over the years that a workspace floor isn’t something you protect. It’s something you use. When it gets worn out, cut up, or too far gone, you tear it out and put down a new one.

That’s the plan here.

No worrying about it. No trying to keep it perfect.

Just a surface that supports the work. At this point, the studio isn’t just built—it’s ready to be used.
